Annette’s Story is a large painting that was produced by a collaboration of artists in Springfield, MA, to be used in the Statewide Harm Reduction Coalition’s campaign against the building of the women’s prison in Chicopee, MA. It tells the story of a woman who was convicted for a nonviolent drug related offense, and the impact that this single conviction had over the next ten years of her life.
