Mental Illness
Ray Lay talks about his first day going back to a prison to give perspective to the correctional officers about dealing with people with a mental illness. Ray is a retired United States Marine, person living with a severe mental illness, an Indiana certified recovery specialist, a Veterans Administration certified peer support specialist, mentor at Indianapolis Re-Entry Educational Facility, and a peer support specialist with the Mental Health Intensive case management team.
