Visitors checking out The Carceral Commonwealth/La mancomunidad carcelaria, a bilingual exhibit designed by UMass Amherst Public History students in collaboration with several local advocacy organizations. The exhibit explores the impact of mass incarceration on families in Massachusetts.

A poetry reading of original works excerpted from Voices Beyond Bars: Strong Women Fighting through Writing, Inspiring the World, an anthology written and edited by Voices from Inside, an organization that offers writing workshops for women impacted by incarceration.
