Attendees at the Brown prison education conference on September 16, 2016. The conference, "The Prison Education Movement: Does Brown Have a Role?" was organized by the John Nicholas Brown Center for Public Humanities and Cultural Heritage.

Written by a museum patron at the opening of States of Incarceration in Rhode Island on the interactive portion of the exhibit.

An example of local artwork from a collection of paintings made by youth in the Rhode Island Training School and by Providence youth artists, contributed by AS220, whose youth program works to disrupt the school-to-prison pipeline.
